A new 3D animated short  entitled Avatar Days from director, Gavin Kelly shows off how connected players are to their in-game avatars for World of Warcraft with the help from vfx artists Cormac Kelly,  John O' Connell, and Will Sharkey

The film, coming in just under four minutes in length, shows off updated WoW models in real world settings.  Check out the short, in its entirety, below.

From Kelly:

"This is short film I worked on a while ago called "Avatar Days". Whatmakes this one special is the fact that it was filmed, vfx'ed and compedall in just 4 days. It was made as part of the "4 day Film" catagory in the Darklight Film Festival.

It follows 4 MMORPG players taking about their online persona's. As they tell their stories we see them go about their everyday lives against the mundane backdrop of city life...but as their Avatars.
